Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to transport materials and products around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is designed to be operated by a single individual.
Pallet trucks should be operated with care in order to avoid loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Machine must be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make sure that the handle can turn smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked in order to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop in order to lower the forks and release the air in the pump. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be at the center to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you since the momentum can cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop abruptly. Gradually come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
