End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have superior performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications that need regular off and on access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various businesses which maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need yet in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The forks also include a hydraulic system which enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the tines to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
